Thanksgiving in Rockport, ME

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! My family and I spent Thanksgiving at my grandmother’s in Rockport, Maine this year. Rockport, Maine is extremely small and is right between Rockland, Maine and Camden, Maine. A little history for you…..Rockport was originally part of Camden, but they had a dispute over the cost of the bridge and Lockport officially separated itself in 1891. My grandmother lives along the Rockport Harbor, where most of these photos are taken.

Here is a link to one of my favorite weekender bags. It’s from Sole Society and is perfect for a quick weekend get away. I travel a lot for work, so this is one of my go to bags. Tip: if you role your clothing, the more you can fit in the bag!

Meet my sister Christine. She actually took most of the photos of me!

One thing I love about being on vacation is sweats and drinking a nice cup of hot tea in the morning. The view isn’t too bad either :).  Today, we headed to Camden to do a little shopping. If anyone is heading up that way, Dec. 2nd is their Annual Christmas by the Sea. Below you can find the link of the schedule of events for the festivities.

This is one of our favorite shops in Camden. I snagged a picture for you guys! This store is extremely charming with a bunch of great gift ideas for the holidays. Things purchased were fromage book, baby onsie, and some Lollia hand creams.
